The u-Care team hosted the final u-Care impact and partnership event at The National Robotarium at Heriot Watt University. The event brought together the wider u-Care team from all associated universities, the advisory board members, partners of the project and the patient group that has been involved from the beginning of the project.
The day consisted of talks and posters from all the different work packages:
- WP1 – Deep UV light sources
- WP2 – Optical fibres for the deep UV
- WP4 – Deep UV tissue ablation
- WP5 – Deep UV in microbial keratitis
- WP6 – Tools for experimental medicine
The attendees were then given a chance to visit the laser labs where a lot of the work takes place and a tour of our public engagement kit that has been developed over the 6 years of the project.
It was great to celebrate all the excellent science the team have been involved over the last 6 years. We are very proud of our team!
